Buy FreeStyle Libre 2 Sensor - Pack of 2

The FreeStyle Libre 2 Sensor is a continuous glucose monitoring system, designed to avoid finger pricks, making it a painless way to keep on top of your readings. It provides 14 days of accurate results for people with diabetes.

The sensor can send real-time alarms to alert you if your glucose levels fall too low or high. Your readings are sent straight to your smartphone, allowing you to better understand your diabetes, lower your HbA1c levels, and take control through diet and exercise.

The FreeStyle Libre 2 Sensor is easy to use and painless to wear and apply. This pack of 2 covers you for 28 days.

Directions

To begin with, download and set up the app on your smartphone. Once you have done so, you can apply the sensor.

Make sure the area you are applying the sensor to is clean and dry. Unscrew the cap of the sensor applicator and put it to one side. Place the sensor applicator over your arm. Press down on it firmly to place the sensor on the back of your upper arm. Listen for a click and wait for a few seconds. Gently and slowly pull the sensor applicator away from your arm.

The device can be worn at all times. However, it must be removed for the following medical scans:

  • MRI
  • CT scan
  • Diathermy treatment
  • X-ray
