What is E45 Shower Cream?
E45 Shower Cream is a gentle cleanser which is perfect for those with dry or sensitive skin who find that their skin dries out after taking a hot bath or shower. Its moisturising emollient formula helps to soothe and protect sensitive skin, ideal for those who find that their skin doesn’t get along with regular soaps or shower gels. E45 Shower Cream is free from soaps and detergents, and doesn’t foam or dry out the skin, helping to support emollient creams or ointments even while you shower.
Why does my skin dry out after showering?
Some people who have dry, sensitive or eczema-prone skin can find that their skin dries out after they take a shower or bathe. This is because spending too much time in hot water can dry out your skin, and this can be exacerbated if your skin is sensitive to harsh soaps or shower gels, which can dry the skin out even further. How will E45 Shower Cream protect my dry skin?
E45 Shower Cream works as an emollient, forming a protective barrier over the skin as you use it. This barrier helps to keep moisture locked into the skin while keeping irritants at bay, helping your skin to stay healthy and hydrated. E45 Shower Cream can be used as a cleanser alongside your emollient cream or ointment, helping you to maintain the protective barrier over your sensitive skin even as you shower.
How to use this product
Use E45 Shower Cream exactly how you would use any other shower gel or soap. Massage gently into wet skin and then rinse thoroughly. Your shower or bath may become slippery after using this product, so be careful not to slip. Gently pat skin dry with a clean towel, don’t rub the skin as this could remove the protective barrier created by the emollient.
When should this shower cream not be used?
Do not use E45 Shower Cream if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. For external use only, avoid contact with eyes or other sensitive areas. If you do accidentally get this product into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool, clean water. If you experience any irritation or adverse reactions while using this product, stop use and seek medical assistance if necessary.
How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
