Buy Dermol Cream (Chlorhexidine 0.1% w/w)

Dermol Cream is a treatment for dry skin conditions like eczema and dermatitis. It soothes, protects and hydrates your skin, easing itching and irritation.

You can use Dermol Cream as an emollient or to replace your soap or shower gel to protect your skin from irritants in regular soaps.

How Dermol Cream (Chlorhexidine 0.1% w/w) works

Dermol Cream contains 4 active ingredients which are:

  • Benzalkonium chloride
  • Chlorhexidine dihydrochloride
  • Liquid paraffin
  • Isopropyl myristate

Benzalkonium chloride and chlorhexidine dihydrochloride are antimicrobial ingredients that kill bacteria that can irritate dry skin conditions. They also reduce the chances of an infection if you scratch during a flare-up.

Liquid paraffin and isopropyl myristate are emollients that form a protective barrier over the skin, keeping moisture locked in and irritants out.

Directions

Always use Dermol Cream exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.

To use as a cream, gently smooth the product onto the skin. Do not rub it in. Allow time for it to soak into the skin. Reapply the product as needed.

To use it as a soap substitute, use the product like an ordinary soap or shower gel. After use, pat the skin dry with a towel.
