What is athlete’s foot?
Athlete’s foot is a fungal skin infection which normally begins between your toes. It’s caused by fungi which like moist and warm places, so if you suffer from sweaty feet and wear shoes that are too tight, you could be creating the perfect environment for athlete’s foot to thrive.
How will Daktarin Spray treat athlete’s foot?
Daktarin Spray is a treatment spray for athlete’s foot which contains the active ingredient miconazole nitrate. This fights off the fungi and bacteria which cause athlete’s foot while providing relief and protection from further infection.

How to use Daktarin Spray.
Before using Daktarin Spray, wash and dry the affected area with your towel. Shake the can well and hold three inches away from your skin. Generously spray the affected area and repeat twice a day until your skin looks normal. You can also spray the inside of your socks or shoes if you feel that this is necessary.
When should Daktarin Spray not be used?
This product is flammable, do not spray near an open flame or another ignition source. Keep away from heat and do not smoke while using this product. Do not use Daktarin Spray after the expiry date on the base of the can. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed. Do not use Daktarin Spray on your nails, hair, or broken skin. Avoid getting Daktarin Spray into your eyes, nose, or any other openings of your body.
Like all medications, Daktarin Spray can have side effects, although you may not get them. These can include severe allergic reactions such as:
- Difficulty breathing or swallowing
- Swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat
- Itchy rash or hives
If you experience these or any other side effects while using Daktarin Spray, stop using this product and contact your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist right away.
