What is Daktarin Aktiv Cream?

Daktarin Aktiv Cream is a treatment for athlete’s foot which helps to kill the source of your infection while helping to soothe cracked and irritated skin. Ideal for those suffering from irritation caused by athlete’s foot, Daktarin Aktiv Cream can provide fast relief.

What is athlete’s foot?

Athlete’s foot is a fungal skin infection which happens when the natural fungi on your skin are allowed to multiply and cause infection. This usually happens if you have feet which sweat a lot and wear tight-fitting shoes. This warm, moist environment is the perfect place for these fungi to thrive, causing a sore and itchy rash when your skin is infected.

How does Daktarin Aktiv Cream treat athlete’s foot?

Daktarin Aktiv Cream contains the active ingredient miconazole nitrate, which helps to treat athlete’s foot by killing the fungi and bacteria which cause the infection in the first place. It also acts as a moisturiser, helping to soothe the cracked and red skin caused by athlete’s foot.

Which Daktarin product should I use?

If you have a fungal infection then it can be confusing to choose a product that will help you get back to normal. At the top of this page, we've included a comparison table of every Daktarin product, which shows you which conditions each product can treat. Remember, although this table is a good guideline, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using Daktarin products if you're unsure what you're suffering from and what you should use for it.

How to use Daktarin Aktiv Cream.

Before applying Daktarin Aktiv Cream, make sure to wash and dry the affected area thoroughly with your towel. Apply the Daktarin Aktiv Cream to the affected area twice a day, once at night and once in the morning. After applying the cream, make sure to wash your hands properly to avoid spreading infection.

When should Daktarin Aktiv Cream not be used?
