What is Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream?

Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream is a treatment for athlete’s foot and inflamed sweat rash. It helps to treat irritating symptoms such as itching and inflammation while killing the fungi that cause infection, fast.

What is athlete’s foot?

Athlete’s foot is a fungal skin infection which causes a scaly, itchy rash that begins between your toes. The fungi that cause athlete’s foot thrive in warm and moist environments, meaning that if your feet sweat a lot and you are wearing tight-fitting shoes, you could be at more risk of developing athlete’s foot.

How does Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream work to relieve athlete’s foot?

Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream contains the active ingredients hydrocortisone acetate and miconazole nitrate, which work together to treat athlete’s foot or inflamed sweat rash. Hydrocortisone acetate works to relieve swelling, redness and itching in your skin, while miconazole nitrate destroys the fungi that cause infection.

Before using Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream, wash and dry the affected area thoroughly with your towel. Apply a small amount of Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream to the affected area twice a day and rub in until the cream has disappeared. Wash your hands carefully after applying this product.
