What is Becodefence Allergy Defence Adult Nasal Spray?

Becodefence Allergy Defence Adult Nasal Spray helps to stop symptoms of hay fever when the first signs of allergic reaction show. It provides a quick and effective defence against allergy symptoms to allow you to enjoy the great outdoors without fear of hay fever spoiling your day. The fast-acting formula gets to work in just 3 minute and works 5 times faster than hay fever tablets, to prevent symptoms from developing. Becodefence is drug and steroid free and is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12, including pregnant and breast-feeding women. If you’re looking for a quick hay fever prevention product, try Becodefence Nasal Spray.

What causes hay fever?

Hay fever is an allergic reaction to pollen from grass, trees and weeds. It is particularly prominent during early spring and summer. Hay fever occurs when the body makes allergic antibodies to pollen and causes symptoms such as:

  • Itchy eyes/throat
  • Sneezing
  • Blocked/runny nose
  • Headaches
  • Blocked sinuses
  • Shortness of breath
  • Tiredness
  • Post-nasal drip

The severity of these symptoms can vary depending on how high the pollen count is.

How to prevent symptoms of hay fever

There are many preventative measures you can take to prevent the effects of hay fever symptoms including:

  • Place Vaseline around your nostrils to trap pollen and prevent it from entering your nose
  • Shower and change your clothes as soon as you enter your house to remove pollen
  • Stay indoors where possible
  • Keep windows and doors shut as much as possible
  • Vacuum regularly and dust with a damp cloth
  • Avoid cutting or walking on grass
  • Don’t spend excessive amounts of time outside
  • Don’t keep flowers in the house
  • Avoid smoking as this can make your symptoms worse
  • Dry clothes inside

How can Becodefence prevent symptoms of hay fever?

Becodefence contains a unique gel formula that becomes a fluid when shaken, so it disperses effectively within the nose, before settling back onto the nasal lining as a gel to block allergens and prevent them from entering the body. The effective formula defuses pollen rapidly and helps to clear allergens fast to prevent hay fever symptoms from developing. It then forms a microgel barrier to prevent against further irritation from pollen particles. Becodefence is clinically proven to reduce hay fever symptoms as is works where the allergic reaction starts.

How to use this product

Becodefence is quick and easy to apply. Shake the bottle vigorously, at least 4 times, whilst holding it in an upright position. Turn the bottle upside down before shaking again for 4 times. Remove the cap from the bottle and prime the spray by pumping several small sprays into the air before the initial use. Tilt your head slightly forward, holding the bottle upright and insert the tip fully into the nose. Pump 1-2 sprays into each nostril, 2-3 times per day for up to 6 hours of protection. Blow your nose thoroughly before each application. You may experience a slightly blocked nose during the first hour of use, but it will ease quickly and disappear with subsequent use. Discontinue use if you experience any severe discomfort after the application.
