Halving Wegovy doses

Some people try to make their Wegovy pens last longer by halving doses, but we don’t recommend this or offer guidance on it. Wegovy is designed with specific dose increases for a reason, and splitting doses can reduce effectiveness, lead to inaccurate dosing, or even result in using expired medication. It can also create treatment gaps that may delay or cancel your next order for safety reasons.

Wegovy side effects

Like all medicines, Wegovy may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects may include:

• Nausea & vomiting 
• Diarrhoea & constipation

Since you'll be following a titration path—where your Wegovy dose gradually increases each month—side effects typically won’t be more severe with a higher-strength bundle like the Wegovy Sustain bundle. Your body will have had time to adjust to the medication throughout your weight loss journey.

Wegovy warnings

• Do not use Wegovy if you’re allergic to semaglutide or any of the other listed ingredients. 
• Wegovy bundles are only suitable for adults aged 18 years and over.
• Do not use Wegovy if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Contraception is recommended while using Wegovy.
• Inform your prescriber if you’re taking any other medication.
