What is Travel John?

The Travel John is a disposable urinal that you can take with you just about anywhere! Don’t worry about being caught short on a long trip or having to find a bush to hide behind when you’re camping with your friends, just whip out your handy Travel John and get the business done. The bag is made of strong plastic and contains a LIQSORB® polymer pouch which solidifies when it comes into contact with liquid, leaving you with a leak-free, odour-free, spill-proof gel that you can throw away in the nearest bin.

If you’re far from the nearest toilet (or the closest loo is looking a bit sketchy), find a private place, open your Travel John, and get peeing. How does this product work?

Each Travel John contains an absorbent polymer pouch which contains dry crystals that can absorb up to 800ml of liquid. These crystals turn into a gel when they come into contact with your pee, so when you seal up the bag you won’t have to worry about it spilling or leaking before you can throw the bag away.

Is Travel John suitable for men or women?

The original Travel John is unisex, so it can be used by men, women, and children. However, we’d recommend the Travel Jane for women who want to use a disposable urinal, as it comes with a handy funnel which makes it easier to keep things flowing where they need to go.

How to use this disposable urinal

When you’re ready to use your Travel John, just open up the bag and pee into it. Once you’re done, close the bag and throw it away. If you need any more information about the peeing process, we’d recommend asking your local healthcare professional, or a trusted friend or family member, just in case.

How to dispose of this product

You can throw away your Travel John in any regular waste bin, no matter where you are.
