What is Sudafed Mucus Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray?

This Sudafed Nasal Spray is a form of treatment that works to relieve a blocked, stuffy nose. The active ingredient is an ingredient called xylometazoline. Xylometazoline is a decongestant that helps to reduce congestion in the nose and sinuses that has been caused a cold or an allergy.

What causes a blocked, stuffy nose?

The cause of a blocked, stuffy nose is usually an infection such as a cold or the flu, as well as allergies such as hay fever. The main reason for the nose to become blocked is the germs or pollen, for example, to enter the nose. There, they attach onto the cells at the back of the nose and start to cause the symptoms. The symptoms of a blocked, stuffy nose include swollen blood vessels that have become irritated which makes breathing more difficult. Mucus production also increases as a result of an infection as the germs stimulate the production of mucus.

Who is this Sudafed Nasal Spray suitable for?

This nasal spray is suitable to be used by adults and children aged 12 and over. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the nasal spray. It should also not be used if:

How should Sudafed Mucus Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray be used?
