Rennie tablets are antacids, helping to quickly and effectively relieve indigestion, heartburn, flatulence, and an upset stomach. These chewable tablets are peppermint flavoured, ideal to leave your mouth feeling clean and fresh.
How does Rennie work?
Rennie tablets contain calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, two antacids that rapidly neutralise excess stomach acid at its source. This quick relief stops heartburn's burning sensation and soothes indigestion. The tablets also include simeticone, which helps break down trapped gas and reduces bloating.
Directions
For adults and children over 12 years of age, two tablets should be sucked or chewed, preferably one hour after a meal and before bedtime. Do not take more than 10 tablets in one day.
Warnings
- Do not take Rennie’s if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, simeticone or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not take these tablets if you have severe kidney disease, high calcium in the urine, high calcium or low phosphate levels in the blood or you have kidney stones
- Tell your prescriber if you are taking any other medicines
- These tablets are unsuitable for children under the age of 12
- Avoid taking these tablets alongside large quantities of dairy products

Although you do pay more for branded names and generic ones are just the same but this size packet (96) is very good value compared to a 48 size. Although we do use generic ones mostly but at this price, opted for the branded version this time.
