Would eye drops be suitable for a 2yo? Symptoms: Morning eye "gunk" clumped in eyelashes and pooled in corner of eye. During the day, her eyes are watering a lot.

You only need to use the drops during waking hours. If you're just using the ointment, a strip of ointment approximately 1cm in length should be applied to the inside of the eyelid three to four times a day. Chloramphenicol eye drops and eye ointment can also be used together to treat bacterial conjunctivitis.

My son suffers with blepharitis and is prescribed Chloramphenicol along with other meds, ordering online means I can order extra if needed. I also use it during the hay fever season as my eyes dry out and this proves the perfect solution.
