How should melolin dressing be used?
Always wash your hands before treating a wound.
A melolin dressing should be applied with the shiny side down, facing the surface of the wound.
The melolin dressing will need a secondary dressing to secure and fix it to the affected area. This can for example be a snugly wrapped crepe bandage .
When should melolin dressing be used?
A melolin dressing is suitable for wounds producing exudate, also known as wound fluid. The absorbent pad protects the wound whilst minimising trauma to the sensitive healing tissue.
When should melolin dressing not be used?
Consult your GP if your wound is producing large amounts of wound fluid or if the wound is not improving.
Do I need a prescription to order melolin dressing?
No, you don’t need a prescription to order melolin dressing.
Can I use melolin dressing if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Can I drink alcohol when I’m using melolin dressing?
