What is Movelat Cream?

Movelat Cream is a pain-relief cream that helps to ease muscular aches and pains. Ideal for those suffering with muscle pain and stiffness, Movelat Cream can also help to ease pain caused by injuries, such as sprains and strains. This product is perfect for those looking for pain relief without having to take tablets. Movelat is available in a cream and a gel.

 

What kinds of pain can this cream be used for?

Movelat Cream can be used for many kinds of muscular and joint pain, providing fast and effective relief. Some of the most common reasons why people use this product include:

  • Muscle pain
  • Muscle stiffness
  • Sprains
  • Strains
  • Sports injuries
  • Rheumatic pain
  • Non-serious arthritic conditions

 

How will Movelat cream help to ease my muscle pain?

Movelat Cream contains the active ingredients mucopolysaccharide polysulfate (MPS) and salicylic acid. These ingredients work together to ease pain and inflammation wherever you apply it, easing joint and muscular pain and swelling quickly and easily.

 

Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

If you’re within the first 6 months of pregnancy or are breastfeeding, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using Movelat cream. If they say you’re safe to use this cream while breastfeeding, do not apply to your breasts. Do not use this product if you are within the last 3 months of your pregnancy.

 

Can I use this cream if I have asthma?

If you have asthma you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. Some pain relief creams can aggravate asthma, so this type of treatment may not be the most suitable choice for you.

 

Can I use this product if I’m taking other medication?

If you’re taking any other medication, including those you obtained without a prescription, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using Movelat Cream. This especially applies if you are already taking coumarin anticoagulants, or blood thinners, such as warfarin.

 

How to use this product

Squeeze between 5 – 15cm (2 – 6 inches) of Movelat Cream onto the affected area, forming a thin later over the area. Massage in gently until cream is absorbed. Apply up to 4 times a day for best results. Wash hands after each use, unless you are treating your hands. You may find that you experience discomfort if you apply this product in hot weather, after a bath, or if you have sensitive skin.

 

When should this product not be used?

Movelat Cream is not suitable for use on children under the age of 12. Do not use this product if you are allergic to mucopolysaccharide polysulfate, salicylic acid, any other aspirin-like medicine or Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs), or any of the other listed ingredients. For external use only, avoid contact with eyes, mouth, anal or genital areas, or any other sensitive areas. Do not apply to broken, infected, or sensitive skin, or areas of skin with eczema. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this cream if you:

  • Have asthma
  • Have pre-existing renal or kidney damage
  • Are using any prescribed medicines
  • Find that your symptoms don’t improve or get worse

 

Does Movelat Cream have any side effects?

Like all medicines, Movelat Cream can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These side effects include:

  • Redness
  • Burning sensation
  • Rash

How to store this product

Store in a cool, dry place which is below 25 degrees C. Do not use this product if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
