Buy Mirvaso Gel

Mirvaso is a topical rosacea treatment containing the active ingredient brimonidine, a type of medicine known as alpha agonists. Facial redness associated with rosacea is caused by high levels of blood flow to the skin, which is the result of enlargement of the blood vessels in the skin. Mirvaso works by narrowing these blood vessels, therefore reducing blood flow and redness.

Directions

Always use Mirvaso exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. It is recommended that Mirvaso is applied to the face once a day only. Start with a pea-sized amount and increase gradually if your symptoms remain the same or improve only slightly. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 1 gram (5 pea-sized amounts applied to the face).

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Mirvaso may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. Common side effects include:

  • Flushing
  • Excessive whitening where the gel is applied
  • Skin redness
  • Burning feeling of the skin
  • Itching

For more information about uncommon and rare side effects, refer to the patient information leaflet. If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
