What are Kalms One-A-Night tablets?

Kalms One-A-Night tablets are a herbal remedy for sleepless nights or temporary insomnia. If you’re struggling to drop off to sleep at night or find yourself waking up in the night so you can’t get some quality sleep, this product may help you to fall asleep and stay asleep. Kalms One-A-Night uses valerian root, a herbal remedy traditionally used to relieve insomnia and help you get your 8 hours of sleep. If you prefer natural remedies to sleeping pills, this could be the ideal choice for you.

What is insomnia?

Insomnia is the medical term for those nights when you can’t fall asleep or find yourself waking up in the night. Short-term or temporary insomnia is very common, most people experience it at some point in their lives, and lots of different things can cause it. For example, you may struggle to fall asleep if your mind is preoccupied with worries about work, stress over a looming exam, or if you suffer from mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression. You could also find yourself lying awake counting sheep if you’re jet lagged or work a shift pattern that disturbs your body’s natural rhythm. You can even find yourself suffering from insomnia for a reason as simple as an uncomfortable bed, your room being too cold or too hot, or your neighbours making a lot of noise. In these cases, short term sleeplessness usually isn’t anything to worry about, and it will often get better over time.

How will Kalms One-A-Night help to ease my insomnia?

Each Kalms One-A-Night tablet contains 385mg of an active ingredient called valerian root extract. Valerian root is a natural ingredient which is traditionally used to help you fall asleep, and it’s a popular ingredient in herbal sleep remedies. It’s thought to ease your short-term insomnia by making you feel drowsy, helping you to drop off for a good night’s sleep.

Can I take herbal sleeping tablets when I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Kalms One-A-Night tablets are not recommended for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you’re struggling with insomnia during your pregnancy you should ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
