What is Iglü Sugar-Free Mouth Pain Relief Pastilles?
Iglu Sugar-Free Pastilles are an alternative solution to treating mouth ulcers and sores. The pastilles dissolve in the mouth to provide relief. The active ingredients, benzalkonium chloride solution and compound benzoin tincture, work as antiseptics to eliminate the infection that causes the spots and sores.
Who are these Iglu Pastilles suitable for?
These pastilles are suitable for adults and children aged 3 and over. It is not suitable for anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the pastilles. These are:
- Benzalkonium chloride solution
- Compound benzoin tincture
- Sorbitol liquid
- Non-crystallising; Acacia; Peppermint Oil
- Simethicone antifoam (water, polydimethyl siloxane and silica mix, polyoxyethylene 20 sorbitan monostearate, glyceryl monostearate, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate, hydrogen chloride)
- Vegetable oil
- Carnauba wax
- Water
Are the pastilles suitable for someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using these pastilles.
Can you use Iglu Pastilles in conjunction with other medication?
There are no known issues with taking other medication with these pastilles.
How many pastilles should I be taking a day?
Take one pastille every 2 hours, but do not take more than 8 a day.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects can occur as a result of an allergic reaction. Symptoms include a rash or swelling in the face, throat, neck, or tongue.
