Hylo is a gentle eye ointment designed to give you relief from dry, burning or itchy eyes while you sleep. Made with light liquid paraffin and vitamin A, it creates a comfortable, protective layer over your eyes that lasts up to six hours through the night.
Vitamin A works to improve your tear film and protect the surface of your eye, while the smooth formula blends easily with your natural tears. Each 5g tube gives you around 300 applications and stays sterile for six months. It's preservative-free and phosphate-free, making it gentle and well tolerated, even for sensitive eyes.
Directions
The amount you use will depend on how dry your eyes feel and what your pharmacist recommends. If your eyes feel very dry, the ointment is usually applied three times a day. Do not use while wearing contact lenses.
To use Hylo Night Eye Ointment:

Remove the protective cap before use.

Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid with one finger to create a small pocket.

With your other hand, hold the tube upright above your eye. Gently squeeze the tube to apply a small strip of ointment into the pocket between your eye and eyelid.

Slowly close your eyelid and blink gently a few times to help spread the ointment.

Replace the cap carefully after use.
