Already Doing It: Our Story

9 out of 10 of our patients on a weight loss journey have been told to "just eat less and move more” to lose weight.

Outdated. Unhelpful. And completely missing the point. Eating less and moving more is part of the picture, but it’s no cure for the obesity crisis.

Already Doing It is our campaign to challenge weight loss stigma and call out lazy advice. Because patients using weight loss medication aren’t looking for shortcuts. They’re showing up, making changes, and putting their health first.

We’ve teamed up with global DJ and advocate Fat Tony, and Gogglebox star Amy Tapper, to create a track that embodies everything this campaign stands for: the energy, the effort, and the drive to keep going.

Because we’re already doing it, and we’re doing it for our health.

Listen to the track

DJ Fat Tony has produced an empowering anti-bullying house track with a video starring Amy Tapper from Gogglebox. It's an anthem for anyone on a GLP-1 weight loss journey who has been told by strangers on the internet to 'just eat less and move more', when they are already doing exactly that and so much more.

The lyrics are inspired by real-life experiences of people on their weight loss journeys who are not only managing a chronic illness but also dealing with bullying and unwanted opinions. The track is on YouTube now, and will be available on Spotify soon.

For the first time in history, we have the tools to tackle obesity directly and the voices to reshape public understanding of it.

Play it loud, play it proud and let it remind you why you started.

Original concept: Steve Strickland & Rebecca Holmes. Music: Fat Tony. Lyrics: Tom Kolbe-Booysen and Robbie Centellas.

Fat Tony and his weight loss journey

People used to call me Fat Tony behind my back - so I took the name and owned it. I took the power out of the insult, and that’s exactly what this track does with ‘eat less, move more.’ You’re bullied if you’re overweight, and you’re bullied if you’re doing something about it. It’s ridiculous. The reality is, most people are already doing it, already trying, already putting the work in, and yet they still get shamed for it, which is just madness.

I’m using my platform to stand up for anyone who’s had enough of being judged for trying to take control of their health. The haters need to hear this - it’s got nothing to do with you. We all know that phrase; people throw it around like its advice, but it’s really just a way to make someone feel small. That’s bullying, and it’s time we called it what it is. This track is about taking that phrase back. It’s about strength, not shame. Because weight loss isn’t about what you lose, it’s about what you gain. And that’s confidence, energy, and a bit of joy back in your life.”

Amy Tapper on 'Already Doing It'

“The last few months have been full of people talking about my weight again. Some of it has been supportive, but a lot of it hasn’t. When your body becomes a discussion point for other people, it can feel like you’re never doing enough. That’s why this campaign means so much to me.

People act like losing weight should be simple, as if it’s just about ‘eating less and moving more’, but there’s so much emotion, effort and personal work involved. This track is about standing your ground and saying: I’m doing this for me, and I won’t let anyone turn that into something shameful.”

In partnership with the National Bullying Helpline

We've partnered with the National Bullying Helpline to ensure that while we deliver a strong message against body bullying, we also provide real, practical support to the people who need it most. The Helpline’s guidance and advocacy offer a lifeline to anyone experiencing harassment, online abuse or intimidation, and together we are able to reach more people with both awareness and direct help.

A donation from every Spotify stream of the track will go to The National Bullying Helpline, supporting their vital work and helping to drive real, lasting change for anyone affected by bullying.

Why this matters:

Obesity is one of the biggest health crises in the UK and costs the NHS billions every year. Our experts believe that safely prescribed weight loss injections are an incredibly effective part of the solution to this chronic condition.

Despite most weight loss injection patients self-funding their treatment and doing everything they can to reach a healthy weight at no cost to anyone else, many are still bombarded with negative messages. Friends, family, and even strangers often accuse them of being lazy, cheating, or not trying hard enough.

A shocking 60% of people on a weight loss journey have received unsupportive comments about their weight or their treatment choice, often from complete strangers, in social settings, or even at the gym.

The truth is that they are already doing all those things and more. They are eating better, moving more, and making long-term changes to improve their health.

“People on a weight loss journey often face challenges that go far beyond the physical. The emotional strain, the judgment from others and the constant pressure to justify their efforts can have a real impact on mental health. At Chemist4U, we see these struggles constantly, and we believe it's our responsibility to support our patients in every way - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

When weight loss is approached safely and clinically, it can lead to powerful improvements in confidence, self-esteem and overall wellbeing. That is why this campaign matters. It allows us to stand with our patients, challenge harmful stigma and remind people that taking control of their health should never be met with shame."

Supported by our weight loss experts

Weight loss medication is not a miracle cure, but for those who are eligible, it can be life-changing. The benefits go far beyond the pounds lost, bringing improved health, energy, confidence, and quality of life.

Nearly half of people using these treatments do so for their health rather than appearance. For many, it means milestones like reversing type 2 diabetes, becoming eligible for IVF, or improving heart health, mental wellbeing, and self-confidence.

We believe that a healthier, happier life should be accessible to everyone, and you can trust the experts at Chemist4U to help you get there.
