What are Evolve HA eye drops?

Evolve HA Intense eye drops are hydrating eye drops for dry eyes. If you suffer from itchy, gritty dry eyes because you wear contact lenses or spend your workday looking at computer screens, these eye drops can help to soothe your tired eyes. They’re free from preservatives and can be used with your contact lenses.

What happens when you have dry eyes?

When you have dry eyes you may find that they feel gritty, almost like there’s something small stuck in them that you can’t get out. They may also itch or look red or irritated. Dry eyes are particularly common in those who wear contact lenses, spend a long time looking at screens, or spend their time in drying atmospheres, such as air-conditioned or heated rooms or in windy weather. They can also happen after having laser eye surgery, as your eyes are trying to repair.

How will the sodium hyaluronate in Evolve HA eye drops help my dry eyes?

Sodium hyaluronate, which is also known as hyaluronic acid, is the active ingredient in Evolve HA eye drops. This naturally occurring substance acts in a similar way to your natural tears, providing a replacement when your eyes are dry and irritated. This helps to soothe your eyes, easing that gritty itchy feeling fast.

Can I use these eye drops with my contact lenses?

Evolve HA eye drops can be used with all contact lenses, perfect for when your lenses are drying or irritating your eyes. However, if you’re unsure whether your own contact lenses can be used with eye drops we’d recommend asking your optometrist for advice.

Can I drive after using these eye drops?

You will usually be able to drive after using these eye drops, but you may experience a mild burning sensation or blurred vision after use. If this happens to you you should not try to drove or operate any tools or machinery until you’re sure that your vision has returned to normal.

How to use Evolve HA eye drops

Before using these eye drops, wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Remove the cap from the bottle and tilt your head back. Use your other hand to pull your lower eyelid down gently, forming a small pocket between your eyelid and your eye. Gently apply pressure to the bottle of drops to deposit one drop of Evolve HA eye drops into your eye. Blink a few times to spread the drops evenly over your eye. Wipe away any excess drops from around your eye and then repeat the process in the other eye, if needed. Do this 2 - 4 times a day, as necessary.

When should this product not be used?

Do not use Evolve HA eye drops if you are allergic to sodium hyaluronate or any of the other listed ingredients. If you experience any irritation or other side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist if necessary. For use in the eyes only, do not swallow. If you’re using any other medications you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. If you use any other eye drops or medications applied to your eyes, wait for at least 30 minutes between using your other eye drops and this product. Do not share these eye drops with anyone else, due to the risk of infection. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.

Excellent product

The drops are good, but the bottle and applicator are not. There is no nozzle, making application very difficult. The bottle is flimsy, meaning it soon collapses with use.
