Ensure Plus is a milkshake style drink which is the perfect supplement for those who struggle to get the amount of nutrients they need each day. They are gluten free, clinically lactose free, and suitable for vegetarians. Ensure Plus milkshakes are available from Chemist 4 U in banana, orange, raspberry, peach, chocolate, and coffee flavours.

This can include people who struggle to swallow or chew or have lost their appetite, which can happen due to illness or dental work. They can also be used by people who have recently had an operation or struggle to gain or maintain their weight.
What nutrients are in this supplement drink?
Ensure Plus contains a range of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals which help to provide balanced nutrition. Each 220ml serving contains 330 calories, 10.8g of fat, 44.4g of carbohydrate, and 13.8g of protein. The vitamins and minerals in each serving include:
- Vitamin A – 257 µg
- Vitamin C – 26mg
- Calcium – 264mg (mmol)
- Iron – 4.6mg

How to take Ensure Plus
Store at room temperature when unopened, but serve chilled or as a warm drink. Do not boil. Shake bottle before use and drink. Once the bottle of Ensure Plus is opened, reseal and store in the refrigerator if needed. Unused milkshake should be thrown away after 24 hours, use the lid sticker to record date and time of opening.
When should Ensure Plus not be used?
This product is for medical purposes and should only be used under medical supervision. Ensure Plus is not suitable for use by children under the age of 1. Do not give to children unless advised by a doctor. Do not take this product if you are allergic to milk, soy, or any of the other listed ingredients. This product is not suitable for patients suffering with glactosaemia. Speak to your doctor, dietician, or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, taking any other medication, or have an underlying medical condition.
