Buy Desorex 75mcg Tablets

Desorex 75mcg Tablets are a contraceptive pill that’s used to prevent pregnancy. It is a progestogen-only pill (POP), also known as the mini pill.

How Desorex 75mcg Tablets work

Desorex 75mcg Tablets only contain the progestogen hormone desogesterel. It works by preventing the sperm cells from entering the womb by thickening the mucus and preventing pregnancy.

Directions

Always take Desorex 75mcg Tablets exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.

Each strip contains 28 tablets. You should start with the first tablet on the first day of your menstrual bleeding and take 1 tablet each day with water.

The days of the week are printed on the foil. Each day corresponds with a tablet. When you start a new pack, take your tablet from the top row. If you start on a Wednesday, you must take the tablet marked “WED.” Continue to take 1 tablet a day until the pack is empty. Make sure you follow the directions indicated by the arrows, allowing you to check if you have taken your pill for this day.

If you forget to take Desorex, or you have a bout of vomiting or diarrhoea, please refer to the patient information leaflet for guidance.

When you can start taking Desorex

When no hormonal contraceptive has been used in the last month

Wait for your period to start. On the first day of your period, take your first tablet. You can also start on days 2-5 of your cycle. However, you must use additional contraception for the first 7 days.

When you are changing from a combined pill, vaginal ring or transdermal patch

You can start taking Desorex on the day after you finish any of these methods of contraception. You must use additional contraception for 7 days when you are changing over to Desorex.

Changing from another progestogen-only-pill

You can stop taking your current contraception and start taking Desorex straight away. You do not need to take any extra precautions.

Changing from an injectable, implant or progestogen-releasing intrauterine device (IUD)

You can start taking these tablets when your next injection is due or on the day that your implant or IUD is removed. You do not need to take any extra precautions.

After having a baby

After giving birth, you can start taking the tablets before your period returns. If you start 21 days after giving birth, then you must use additional contraception for the first 7 days.

After a miscarriage or abortion

Your GP or pharmacist will advise you when you can start taking Desorex.
