What are Aronix sildenafil tablets?

Aronix tablets are an erectile dysfunction treatment which contains the active ingredient sildenafil. If you’re suffering from regular erectile dysfunction and are looking for a way to help you get or maintain an erection, Aronix could be the perfect choice for you.

What is erectile dysfunction (impotence)?

Erectile dysfunction (also known as ED or impotence) is a common problem that lots of men deal with, although they may not want to talk about it openly. When you have erectile dysfunction, it means that you will fail to get or maintain an erection when sexually stimulated. It can happen for lots of different reasons, with some of the most common causes including:

  • Stress, anxiety, or depression
  • Drinking too much alcohol
  • Tiredness
  • Narrowing blood vessels in your penis
  • High cholesterol
  • Hormonal problems
  • Side effects of some medications

How will the sildenafil 50mg in Aronix tablets help my erectile dysfunction?

Aronix tablets contain 50mg of the active ingredient sildenafil, which is a type of medication called a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It works by dilating the blood vessels in your penis, making it easier for blood to flow into the area, helping you to get an erection when you’re aroused.

Are there any other things I can do to help my erectile dysfunction?

There are some lifestyle changes you can try that may help to ease your erectile dysfunction. If you’re overweight, losing weight may help, especially if it helps to lower your cholesterol. You may also see improvements if you stop smoking, exercise regularly, and eat a healthy diet. Managing stress and anxiety may also make a difference.

Can women take sildenafil?

Women should not take sildenafil, as it has not been widely tested in women. This is because these tablets are not meant to be taken by anyone who does not have erection problems. If you’re a woman and you are concerned about any sexual problems or issues, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Can I take these tablets if I’m taking other medication?

If you’re taking any other medication, including those obtained without a prescription, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Aronix. Do not take this product if you are already taking:

  • Nitrate medicines, which are used to relieve chest pain or heart failure, for example, glyceryl trinitrate, amyl nitrate (“poppers”), nicorandil, or sodium nitroprusside
  • Riociguat or other guanylate cyclase stimulators, which are used to treat high blood pressure in your lungs, including that caused by blood clots
  • Ritonavir, which is used to treat HIV

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you are taking:

  • Any other erectile dysfunction treatment
  • Alpha-blockers, which are used to treat urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate or high blood pressure, e.g. alfuzosin, doxazosin, tamsulosin
  • Protease inhibitors, which are used to treat HIV infections
  • Cimetidine, which is used to treat heartburn
  • Itraconazole or ketoconazole, which are used to treat fungal infections
  • Erythromycin, which is an antibiotic

Will any food or drink affect these tablets?

You can take Aronix tablets with or without food, but you should be aware that eating a high-fat meal before taking these tablets may mean that they take longer to start working. Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice if you’re taking this product, as they can affect how the medication works.

Can I drink alcohol if I’m taking these tablets?

You should not drink large amounts of alcohol before taking Aronix tablets. Drinking alcohol can reduce your ability to get an erection, making it more difficult for this medicine to work as it should.

How long does this product take to work?

Once you’ve taken your Aronix tablet, it will take around 30 – 60 minutes for it to work. However, you should be aware that the medication won’t work without sexual stimulation, which means that you won’t get an erection unless you’re sexually aroused. This is just the same as any other sexual situation, and you and your partner should take the time to engage in foreplay to help you get the best out of this medication.

What is the dose of sildenafil 50mg tablets?

Take one Aronix sildenafil 50mg tablet around 1 hour before you’re planning to have sex, as needed. Swallow with a sip of water. Do not take more than one tablet a day.

Can I buy Aronix over the counter?

You do not need a prescription for Aronix, however, you will be asked to complete a short medical questionnaire by your Chemist 4 U pharmacist before we can take your order. This includes some simple questions that all pharmacies legally are required to ask before supplying this kind of product. This helps our pharmacy team to be sure that this product is the best choice for you.

When should this product not be used?

Aronix tablets are not suitable for use in children under the age of 18. Do not take this product if you are allergic to sildenafil citrate or any of the other listed ingredients. This product should not be taken by those who do not have an erection problem. Do not take these tablets if you have:
