What is Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution?

Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution is a liquid medicine containing the active ingredients glycerin and sucrose. It is a non-drowsy medicine designed to soothe and relieve irritating, tickly coughs. Suitable for adults and children over 1 year, it’s a family-friendly option offering effective relief.  

How does Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution work?

The glycerin and sucrose in Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution work together to lubricate your throat and soothe the tickling sensation of a cough.

How long does it take to work?

The treatment starts to soothe your throat quickly once taken, although the exact time can vary depending on the severity of the cough.

How long does it last?

The relief provided by Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution lasts for around 6-8 hours. If your symptoms don’t go away, you can repeat the dose 3 or 4 times in 24 hours.

How to take Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution

This medicine should only be swallowed. For adults and children over 12 years:

• one or two 5ml spoonfuls, 3-4 times a day

For children of 6 to 12 years:

• take one 5ml spoonful, 3-4 times a day

For children of 1 to 5 years:

• take half a 5ml spoonful (2.5ml), 3-4 times a day

Do not use more than the recommended dose and keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not store Almus Tickly Cough Solution above 25°C.

Most people won’t experience any side effects when taking Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution.

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include difficulty in breathing, and swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat.

Who shouldn’t take Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution

Almus Tickly Cough Oral Solution may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

This product is not suitable for children under 1 years old.

• have an intolerance to some sugars
