What are Wind-Eze Chewable Peppermint Tablets?
Wind-Eze Tablets are a form of treatment for those who are suffering from flatulence. These tablets work by dispensing the tiny bubbles in the wind that cause flatulence. This will also ease bloating in the abdomen.
What is trapped wind?
Trapped wind is felt with discomfort in and around the digestive system. This is because of a build-up of pressure in the abdomen. Trapped wind can cause several different issues, including:
- Bloated stomach
- Bloated abdomen
- Burping
- Flatulence
Everyone passes wind, and it is entirely natural, even if it isn't treated that way. It is caused by bacteria in the gut that is created by the colon. Trapped wind can be caused by eating quickly, as well as foods that contain a lot of fibre and also fizzy drinks. Also, dairy foods, carbohydrates, foods that contain fructose, and fatty foods.
Who are Wind-Eze Tablets suitable for?
These tablets are suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over. The tablets are not suitable for anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in them. You should also not use these Wind-Eze if you are currently taking any mineral oil (paraffin) based laxatives.
Are these tablets suitable for someone pregnant or breastfeeding?
It recommended that you speak to your doctor before using these Wind-Eze Tablets.
Can I use other types of medication when using Wind-Eze?
Caution should be taken when using other medication, particularly treatment for a thyroid disorder because the ingredients in Wind-Eze can weaker ingredients in other types of medication.
How many Wind-Eze Tablets should I take a day?
You should take 1 tablet between 3-4 times a day, ideally at mealtimes and before bedtime. The tablets should be chewed and not swallowed.
Are there any side effects?
Any side effect will likely be as a result of an allergic reaction. If you do notice any side effect, then you should contact your doctor as possible.
