What are Numark Pregnancy Care tablets?
Numark Pregnancy Care tablets are food supplements developed for use during pregnancy. Take them throughout pregnancy to support your body, and your unborn child, with essential vitamins and minerals. These tablets are suitable for vegetarians and are free from artificial flavours and preservatives.
How will Numark Pregnancy Care tablets help to support me during pregnancy?
Numark Pregnancy Care tablets contain a range of vitamins and minerals which have been carefully selected to support you during every stage of your pregnancy and while you’re breastfeeding. This includes the NHS recommended daily dose of 400µg folic acid, perfect for the first weeks of pregnancy and when you’re trying to conceive. It also contains 10µg of vitamin D, which helps to control the amount of calcium and phosphate in your body, supporting healthy bones, teeth, and muscles
Why is folic acid so important during pregnancy?
Folic acid is a very important supplement that the NHS recommends that every woman should take every day for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and when trying to conceive. Folic acid reduces the chance of your baby developing neural tube defects (NTDs), such as spina bifida, and is essential when your baby’s spine is developing.
