What is Lemsip Cough Max For Mucus Cough & Cold Lemon?

Lemsip Cough Max is a solution that is designed to relieve the effects of a cold and flu. It can treat a number of different symptoms, including a cough, blocked nose, a headache, fever, and muscle aches and pains. The solution contains three active ingredients that help to provide relief. These are:

  • Paracetamol
  • Guaifenesin
  • Phenylephrine

Paracetamol is a painkiller found in many different treatments that also can be used to relieve a fever. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that will loosen any mucus stuck in the chest, throat, or nose. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that will thin blood vessels in the nose that has become swollen as a result of a cold.

What causes a cold?

A cold is caused by a virus that is spread through germs that either get into the air through someone with cold sneezing or touching often touched surfaces with their hands, such as door handles. A cold virus can get into the body through the eyes, nose, or mouth.
