How will this product support me after giving birth?
Pregnacare Breastfeeding supplements are formulated with new mothers in mind, providing nutrients that can help to support you as you breastfeed your little one. The vitamin tablets contain calcium and Vitamins D and K, which work together to contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. The B vitamins in these tablets contribute to energy release from your food, supporting your vitality when you need it most. They also contain 10µg of Vitamin D which is recommended as a daily supplement by the UK Department of Health for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
The Omega-3 Capsules included in this product provide 300mg DHA, which contributes to the normal development of your little one’s brain and eyes when taken by breastfeeding mothers.

Can I take this product if I’m still pregnant?
You can take these supplements if you are still pregnant and are coming towards the end of your pregnancy and it does not particularly matter when you transition over to these tablets. Can I take this product if my baby was premature?

Can I take these supplements if I’m taking other medication?
Pregnacare Breastfeeding supplements can usually be taken alongside other medication without any problems. However, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product if you are taking any other medication, including those obtained without prescription, to make sure the products are safe to use together. For example, the tablets included in this product contain Vitamin K which should not be taken if you are taking anticoagulants, which are also known as blood thinners.
How to take Pregnacare Breastfeeding capsules and tablets
Take 2 Pregnacare Breastfeeding vitamin tablets and 1 Omega-3 capsule every day with a main meal. Swallow with water or a cold drink and do not chew these supplements. Do not take more than the recommended daily dose.
When should Pregnacare Breastfeeding products not be used?
This product is not suitable for use by children. Do not use Pregnacare Breastfeeding supplements if you are allergic to soya, fish, or any of the other listed ingredients. Food supplements should not be used in place of a balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. Speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product if you are taking other medication or have an underlying medical condition.
How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place which is below 25 degrees C. Store in original packaging and do not use if expiry date printed on packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
