There are many pros and cons to both shaving and hair removal cream, but the main factor you should take into consideration when choosing a hair removal method is what kind of results you are looking for. Although shaving can be a cheap option, the results only last for a couple of days before prickly regrowth starts. Hair removal cream can provide up to 4 weeks of smooth skin. Shaving only cuts the hair above the skin surface which can cause rough, prickly regrowth, whereas hair removal cream, removes the hair just before the skin’s surface which causes it to regrow with rounded tips resulting in no sharp stubble.

How to use this product
Before using this product, ensure you have read the product information leaflet carefully. Test your skin reaction by applying the cream to a small part of the area you wish to use. If there is no adverse reaction after 24 hours. If you experience any smarting/tingling feeling during use, remove the cream immediately and rinse thoroughly with water. If you are planning on using the product on hard-to-reach places, such as the back or shoulders, it is recommended that you ask somebody to help you.
- Remove the plug from the pump and turn to unlock.
- Pump the Veet Cream onto the spatula or your hand and spread evenly to fully coat the hair you would like to remove, but do not rub the cream in - don’t forget to wash any cream off your hands.
- Leave the cream on your skin for 5 minutes and then use the spatula to gently remove a small test area of cream.
- If the hair removes easily, use the wider or narrower end of the spatula, depending on the body part to remove the rest.
- If your hair is more stubborn you may leave the product on for up to 10 minutes in total - do not leave the cream on your skin for longer than 10 minutes.
- Rinse your skin thoroughly with water to remove the cream completely then dry.
Always leave 72 hours between applications. After use, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before applying an antiperspirant, a perfumed product or sunbathing.
When NOT to use this product
Do NOT use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients (see ingredients tab for full list). This product is not suitable for use on:
- Moles
- Spotty, broken, irritated or sunburnt skin
- Skin that has been shaved in the last 72 hours
- Skin which has suffered an adverse reaction to hair removal creams in the past
