Silicolgel helps to manage symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders such as abdominal discomfort, stomach pain, nausea, flatulence, reflux and heartburn. It contains colloidal silicic acid which is a natural ingredient that acts as an adsorbent, and when swallowed, Silicolgel forms a protective coating over the stomach and intestines. The purpose is to adsorb irritants, toxins and pathogens that cause gastrointestinal disorders, and pass them through the body naturally. Silicolgel can also bind gasses and reduce excess acidity.
