What is Nivea Sun Baby Moisturising Sun Lotion 50+ Very High?
This Nivea lotion is a formula that has been formulated for sensitive and delicate baby skin. It provides a high level of protection from UVA and UVB rays which protects against sunburn and potential long-term damage. The lotion is not scented, but it is water resistant so going in the pool is not a problem.
How does the sun affect the skin?
Sunlight is not always bad for this skin. This is because the UVB rays provide the energy to make vitamin D, which stimulates the production of melanin, which controls the skin’s tan. UVB rays don’t penetrate the skin as much as UVA rays but do more immediate damage, such as sunburn. However, UVB rays are absorbed by DNA in the cells, which can lead to skin cancer. More delicate skin, such as a baby’s, needs more protection to prevent skin damage.
Who is this sun lotion suitable for?
This lotion is suitable to be used for babies who will be out in the sun. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients that are contained in the lotion. If any skin medication is being used, then it is recommended that you speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using.
How should Nivea Sun Baby Moisturising Sun Lotion 50+ Very High be used?
This Nivea lotion should be applied before sun exposure. Apply a generous amount to the skin. Once applied, repeat the process, ensuring that no skin is missed. Early afternoon sun, from 11am-3pm, should be avoided. Do not expose babies to direct sunlight and ensure that proper clothing is worn at all times.
Are there any side effects?
Any side effect of using this lotion is most likely to be caused by an allergic reaction. If you notice any side effect, then stop using and speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist as soon as possible.
