What is Numark Zinc And Castor Oil Cream?

Numark Zinc and Castor Oil Cream is a cream that helps the skin to retain moisture and also soothes it. It is ideal for delicate baby skin which is prone to nappy rash and irritation. Zinc helps to form a coating over the skin which helps to clear irritation. Castor oil works to kill bacteria on the skin that can cause redness and irritation.

What can cause a nappy rash?

A nappy rash is the result of irritation in the nappy area. It can occur at any time, and generally affects about a third of babies at any given time. Causes of a nappy rash can include:

  • Not changing the nappy often enough
  • The nappy rubbing against the skin
  • Some soaps, detergents or bubble bath
  • Baby wipes that contain alcohol
  • Antibiotics

A nappy rash can cause red patches on the skin. The skin may look sore but in most cases but in most cases, it isn’t sore or hot to touch.
