Migraines

If you’ve ever experienced a migraine then you’ll know that they’re much more than just a bad headache. As well as head pain, migraines can be accompanied by other symptoms such as sensitivity to light or sound, nausea, sweating, and difficulty concentrating.

Some people can also experience migraine auras, which are symptoms that warn you a migraine is going to happen and can include seeing flashing lights, blind spots, pins and needles, dizziness, difficulty speaking, and even loss of consciousness in rare cases. Not everyone will experience a migraine aura, it’s thought that they only happen to 1 in 3 migraine sufferers, but a migraine is no joke, aura or not.

How do migraine treatments work?

Many people find that their migraines can be managed with over the counter pain relief and rest, but if you suffer from severe migraines you may need a prescription treatment to ease your headache and the other symptoms that come with it.

Doctors can prescribe anti-sickness medications and stronger pain relief, like triptans, if they believe they can help ease your migraines.

Although there is currently no known cure for migraines, these treatments will help to manage your symptoms so you can get through them in comfort.

Start a consultation with our prescribers now and answer their quick questionnaire so they’ll have the information they need to determine whether prescription migraine relief will be right for you.

If they write a prescription for your treatment, it will be filled by our pharmacy team and sent straight to your door in discreet packaging.
