What are Fybogel Original Sachet Drinks?

These Fybogel sachets are a form of treatment that works to reduce the effects of constipation. Fybogel contains the active ingredient, Ispaghula Husk, which helps bulk-forming in the gut in order to help ease constipation. Bulk-forming works by increasing the amount of water that is absorbed by the stools in the gut. This increase in water helps to move them along in the digestive system. Fybogel Original can be used in a diet where an increase in fibre is necessary. These sachets can also be used if you suffer from haemorrhoids to help maintain normal bowel movement.

What causes constipation?

Constipation is a common condition that can affect anyone. The cause of the condition isn’t always obvious, but there are several potential causes which include:

  • Not eating enough fibre – such as fruit, vegetables, and cereals

  • A change in diet or daily routine

  • Medications

Constipation can be also a condition that occurs during pregnancy or after birth.

Who are these Fybogel sachets suitable for?

  • Suffering from a blockage in the bowel

If you are using any medication for any other condition, speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using.
