Hair Loss (Alopecia)

Many people deal with hair loss as they grow older, as male or female pattern baldness (hereditary hair loss) is a perfectly normal part of ageing. Alopecia (the medical name for hair loss) can be caused by ageing, changes in hormones, medical conditions, stress and more, and coming to terms with hair loss can be stressful in itself.

However, you don’t need to accept hair loss just because it’s normal, we’re well aware that losing your hair can make you feel self-conscious and can be upsetting to some people. Luckily, there are treatments available that can help to put the breaks on hereditary alopecia and help you to see hair regrowth.

Remember, your final treatment will be decided by our prescribers based on your answers provided within your consultation. You will be asked to indicate a preferred treatment option from a selected list after completion of your consult.

How do hair loss treatments work?

Treatments like Regaine, Propecia, and finasteride are effective hair loss treatments that can help to slow down hair thinning, with many people seeing results within a few months of treatment.

It’s important to note that hair loss treatments aren’t a quick fix. You’ll need to keep taking the treatment if you want to continue to see results, which is why many people get their medication from an online prescriber, who can provide a suitable treatment in a quick, convenient and discreet way.

Our prescribers can recommend hair loss medications after a consultation, answer their quick questionnaire from the comfort and privacy of your own home and they’ll have all they need to see if an alopecia treatment could be right for you.

If they write you a prescription our pharmacy team will get it sent out to you and don’t worry about your nosy neighbours knowing about your treatment, our packaging is discrete and unmarked, so your business will remain your business.
