What are Adcal-D3 Lemon Effervescent  Tablets

Adcal-D3 Lemon Effervescent tablets  are a calcium and vitamin D3 supplement tablets. It is suitable for those who do not receive enough vitamin D3 or calcium through their diet or their body requires an increased level due to a condition. The tablets increase levels of vitamin d3 and calcium in the body and are easy to administer as the tablets have to be dissolved into a glass of water before consumed rather than swallowed like traditional tablets and have a pleasant lemon flavour. If you need a product that increases your levels of vitamin D in your diet, try Adcal-D3 Lemon Effervescent Tablets.

Why are calcium and vitamin D important?

Calcium and vitamin D play a vital role in bone development, as well as other important bodily functions. Calcium is required to allow our heart, muscles and nerves to function properly, as well as enabling our blood to clot when required. If our bodies don’t receive enough calcium this can result in developing conditions such as osteoporosis. We require vitamin D in order to absorb calcium. If our bodies to do not receive enough vitamin D, this can prevent calcium from being sufficiently absorbed by the body, which can cause it to take calcium from its stores in the skeleton. As well as weakening our bones, this can prevent the formation of new, strong bones.

How can Adcal-D3 help increase levels of calcium and vitamin D?

We can receive calcium from our diet through consuming dairy products like milk and cheese, eating leafy, green vegetables like spinach and kale and products that are made with fortified flour, like bread. Vitamin D3 is also known as the sunshine vitamin as our body produces it when we are exposed to sunlight. However, some people may not be able to receive their required amount of either vitamin D3 or calcium due to dietary requirements, health conditions, mobility issues that prevent them from going outside or living in a country that doesn’t receive a lot of sunshine. Each Adcal-D3 tablet contains 600mg of calcium and 10 micrograms of vitamin D3. It can be used if you are not receiving enough calcium or Vitamin D3 through your diet and lifestyle. It can also be prescribed by doctors for certain bone conditions, such as osteoporosis. Studies also show that taking calcium and vitamin D3 can prevent hip and other non-vertebral bone fractures in later life. The tablets are dissolved in water and consumed as a drink, so are suitable for those who may not be able to swallow traditional tablets and have a pleasant lemon flavour for easy administration. It is recommended that you seek advice from your GP or a Chemist4U pharmacist to ensure that this product is suitable for you, as an overdose of vitamins can have harmful effects.
