Sterimar Kids nasal spray uses natural sea water enriched with copper and magnesium salts to ease congestion in your child’s nose. The solution has a higher salt concentration than the cells in the body, so when it’s sprayed into the nose it draws out excess fluid and mucus, helping to clear the congestion gently. It also helps to wash out the nasal cavities, helping to reduce the risk of secondary infection in their sensitive nose.
Can I give this product to my child if they are taking any other medication?
Sterimar Kids nasal spray is completely drug free and does not contain any preservatives, so it is unlikely to affect any other medication your child is taking. However, if you’re unsure we would recommend asking your doctor or pharmacist if this product is safe for your child before using it for the first time.
How to use this nasal spray
Before use, briefly prime the spray by pressing the nozzle. Place the nozzle into one nostril and press briefly to administer the spray. Do not tilt your head backwards or sniff while administering the spray. Blow your nose to clear any excess from the nose and then repeat the process in the other nostril. Make sure to clean the nozzle thoroughly with soapy water after each use. Use as often as your doctor or pharmacist recommends.
When should this product not be used?
Sterimar Kids Congestion Relief nasal spray is not suitable for use in children under the age of 3 months. Do not give this product to your child if they are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. This nasal spray is unlikely to cause any irritation, but if your child experiences any side effects or irritation while using this product stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use this product if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
