What are Niquitin 4mg Lozenges?

Niquitin 4mg Lozenges are a smoking cessation aid product that can help you to quit smoking for good. The lozenges contain 4mg of nicotine, which satisfy your cravings without the harmful substances that are included in cigarettes. Niquitin can be used as Nicotine Replacement Therapy, as they can replace the nicotine you receive from cigarettes in a lozenge form that are perfect for on the go, so you can beat cravings anywhere. Whether you’re looking to quit straight away or cut down gradually, use Niquitin for an easy alternative that can help you to resist the urge to smoke.

Why should I quit smoking?

We all know that smoking is damaging to our health but it can be a really tricky habit to give up. This is because the nicotine included in cigarettes is an addictive substance that our body learn to crave after you have started smoking. It’s this craving that makes it difficult to quit. However hard smoking may be to quit, the lifestyle benefits are worth it and will notice big, positive changes to your health when you quit smoking.

Easier to breathe

Your lung capacity can improve by up to 10% after you have quit smoking around 9 months. If you are younger you may only notice the effects of smoking on your lung capacity until you take part in exercise such as a run or cycling. However, our lung capacity naturally decreases over time, so having maximum lung capacity whilst you are young can mean the difference between  having an active, healthy old age and having breathing difficulties or wheezing when walking or climbing the stairs.

More Energy

Quiting smoking improves blood circulation which can benefit physical activity such as walking or running. It can also boost the immune system which can make it easier to fight off infections such as a cold or the flu. Finally, the increase in your oxygen intake, when you quit, can help to reduce tiredness, leaving you more alert and with more energy to enjoy your day.

Less stress

It’s a common misconception that smoking reduces stress. Nicotine withdrawal can heighten feelings of stress, therefore when you give in to the nicotine craving it ‘reduces’ this feeling of this stress, so it is easy to associate smoking with stress reduction. In reality, studies have shown that quitting smoking can lower stress levels and smoking is an unhelpful, as well as unhealthy way of dealing with stress.

Better sex and fertility

As mentioned before, quitting smoking, improves circulation therefore improves sensitivity during sex. Men who quit smoking may achieve better erections and women who quit may find that their organs improve and it is easier for them to become aroused. Non-smokers can find it easier to get pregnant as quitting smoking improves the lining of the womb and increase the potency of men’s sperm.

How can Niquitin 4mg Lozenges help you to quit smoking?

Niquitin lozenges help to relieve cravings by providing some of the nicotine that is inhaled when smoking cigarettes. The lozenges do not have the health risks posed by tobacco as they do not contain harmful substances such as carbon monoxide or tar that are found in cigarettes. Niquitin lozenges contain nicotine resin that, when sucked, releases nicotine slowly which is then absorbed through the lining of the mouth. The nicotine helps to relieve cravings, as well as, withdrawal symptoms, such as feeling unwell or irritable.
