Jungle Formula Dry Protect Aerosol Spray is a non-greasy insect repellent that provides strong protection against a variety of insect species including mosquitos, ticks and horse flies. This insect repellent spray provides up to 7 hours of protection from mosquitoes whilst being gentle on skin. the formula is does not contain DEET (N,N-Diethyl-m-toluamide) making it safer to use and is suitable for children over the age of 3. This product is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and for short haul holidays to provide protection from insects when hiking, visiting the beach or sitting in the park. At best, insect bites and stings can be irritating and cause discomfort, at worst they can cause allergic reactions or spread serious diseases, so it is important to take precautions, especially if you have an insect bite allergy or are travelling to a place where there is a serious risk of picking up diseases from insect bites.

Basic prevention methods

Protecting yourself from insects doesn’t have to be difficult. Just taking a few simple precautions can help to prevent bites and stings:

• Remain calm and slowly move away from wasps, hornets or bees – avoid waving your arms or swatting as this can anger them
• Cover exposed skin when you are outside especially during sunrise and sunset, as this is when insects tend to be the most active
• Apply insect repellent to exposed skin
• Avoid using products with strong perfumes, soaps, shampoos and deodorants, as these products can attract insects
• Do NOT disturb insect nests
• Avoid camping near water, as this is were mosquitoes and horseflies are usually found
• Keep food and drink covered when outside
• Keep doors and windows closed or place a thin netting or door beads over doors and windows to prevent insects entering the house

How to use Jungle Formula Insect Repellent

Jungle Formula is easy to apply. Simply spray carefully to all exposed skin, ensuring that it is clean and dry before application. Avoid contact with eyes or lips during application. Hold the can around 15 cm away from the skin and spray using a slow, sweeping motion. Ensure that the product is applied evenly. To apply to the face, spray the product into your palm first and use your hands to carefully apply to the face, ensuring you avoid the eyes and lips. Reapply Jungle Formula when required, as environmental factors like high temperatures and humidity can reduce the duration and effectiveness of insect repellents.

When NOT to use this product

Do NOT use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product (see ingredients tab for full list). This product causes serious eye irritation. If contact occurs, rinse carefully with water for several minutes and remove contact lenses if possible. Keep this product away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition and do not smoke when using this product.
