Buy Finasteride (Generic Propecia)
Finasteride is designed to help men with mild to moderate male pattern hair loss. The treatment helps men grow and keep their hair. Finasteride is ideal for men with a receding or thinning hairline.
How Finasteride works
Finasteride belongs to a group of medicines known as 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It works by blocking the formation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is a hormone that is present in your scalp.
DHT is responsible for male pattern baldness. Blocking its formation helps to reverse the balding process, increase hair growth, and prevent further hair loss.
Directions
Always take Finasteride exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.
Take 1 tablet daily; do not crush or break it.

Can women take finasteride?
Finasteride tablets are not suitable for women or those who were assigned female at birth.
Coming into contact with finasteride can be especially problematic for pregnant women, as it can cause your baby to be born with abnormalities in its sex organs.
How long does Finasteride take to work?
Will I lose my hair again if I stop taking finasteride?
Do not stop taking finasteride unless you are advised to do so by your doctor, stopping this treatment too early can result in you losing the hair you’ve gained within the past 9 – 12 months.
If you want to stop taking this medication, speak to your doctor so you can work out a plan of action together.
Is finasteride the same as Propecia?
Finasteride is the active ingredient in the brand-name hair loss treatment Propecia.
This means that Propecia and generic finasteride tablets work in the same way and can be just as effective as one another.
With that being said, there are some minor differences between the two treatments, one of the most obvious being the price of your medication.
Generic products are generally cheaper than branded ones, so finasteride tablets may be a cheaper option for you than Propecia.
What is male pattern hair loss?
Male pattern hair loss, also known as male pattern baldness, is a common reason why men lose their hair, and it usually isn’t anything to worry about.
This type of hair loss is usually hereditary, which means it runs in your family, and will usually start gradually, as you’ll notice your hairline receding or your hair growing thinner on top.
Male pattern hair loss is a normal part of getting older and it doesn’t need treatment, but many men decide to use medications that can help them to keep their hair as they grow older.
