What are Clinitas Soothe Multi eye drops?

Clinitas Soothe Multi eye drops are hydrating drops that help to soothe and refresh dry, gritty eyes. They use the highest strength of sodium hyaluronate to gently hydrate and moisturise your dry eyes, easing symptoms like itching, redness, or blurred vision. These eye drops are free from preservatives and contact lens friendly.

What causes dry eyes?

Dry eyes can happen for a lot of reasons, and although they’re uncomfortable they’re usually nothing to worry about. When you have dry eyes, they can feel sore, gritty, and itchy, and may look red. Some of the most common causes of dry eyes include:

  • Wearing contact lenses
  • Staring at screens for a long time without a break
  • Being older than 50
  • Cold, dry, dusty, or windy weather
  • Air conditioned or heated envionments
  • Smoking
  • Drinking alcohol
  • Some medications and medical conditions

How will sodium hyaluronate eye drops soothe my dry eyes?

Clinitas Soothe Multi eye drops contain an active ingredient called sodium hyaluronate in a 0.4% solution. Sodium hyaluronate naturally occurs in your eyes, hydrating your tear film, meaning that these eye drops use an ingredient that is already in your eyes to add more hydration and lubrication to their surface. This helps to soothe your eyes, relieving discomfort, soreness, and hat gritty feeling that can happen when your eyes are dry.

Can I use Clinitas Soothe Multi drops if I wear contact lenses?

Clinitas Soothe Multi eye drops can be used if you wear contact lenses. Always read the patient information leaflet before use to make sure these drops are compatible with your contact lenses and follow the manufacturers instructions carefully. If you’re not sure whether these drops are suitable for you, speak do your doctor, pharmacist, or optician.

How to use these eye drops

Before using these eye drops, wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Tilt your head back and use one hand to gently pull down your lower eyelid. Lift the bottle over your eye and squeeze gently to insert one drop into your eye. Blink once or twice to disperse the drops evenly over your eye. Repeat the process in your other eye if necessary.
