Canesten cream treats athlete's foot and relieves its symptoms. It contains 1% bifonazole, an antifungal ingredient that fights the fungal infection causing your discomfort while easing the itching and soreness that come with athlete's foot. 

How does Canesten bifonazole cream work? 

Bifonazole belongs to a group of antifungal medicines called imidazoles. It kills the fungus causing your infection while relieving itching and redness. 

Directions  

Turn the cap upside down and press it onto the end of the tube to break the seal before first use. Wash and dry your feet thoroughly, especially between your toes, before applying the cream.  

Put a thin, even layer on the affected areas once a day, preferably at bedtime, and gently rub it in. Keep using the cream for 2-3 weeks. 

Warnings 

  • Do not use Canesten if you are allergic to bifonazole or any of the other listed ingredients 
  • Tell your prescriber if you are taking/using any other medicines 
  • Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding 
  • This product is not suitable for the treatment of nappy rash, nail and scalp infections, or vaginal infections
