What is BetterYou Turmeric Daily Oral Spray?

BetterYou Turmeric Daily Oral Spray contains 1300mg equivalent turmeric root per dose. As curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) isn’t water soluble, it can be difficult for our bodies to absorb through the digestive system. That’s why this oral spray is an ideal and effective way to supplement turmeric.

What is the recommended dosage?

Before taking BetterYou Turmeric Daily Oral Spray for the first time, press the pump three times to get the liquid flowing. Shake well before every use and carefully spray into your mouth, ideally onto the inside of your cheek, and hold for a few seconds. The recommended dosage is 4 sprays each day, taken at any time of the day with or without food or drink.

What are the benefits of turmeric?

Much like colourful fruits and vegetables, turmeric is beneficial for our health because of the plant pigments. Research shows that turmeric may ease arthritis, support the immune system and potentially lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. Studies even suggest that by supporting cognitive function, turmeric may be helpful in the treatment of neurological conditions like stroke and Alzheimer’s disease.

How does turmeric help arthritis?

Turmeric has been used in alternative medicine to treat pain and swelling for a very long time. Curcumin, a compound found in turmeric, is thought to block enzymes and cytokines that cause inflammation, hence why it is believed to be beneficial for arthritis. Studies have even compared the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric against non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Are turmeric supplements suitable for everyone?

Turmeric is suitable for most people, but some of us should avoid taking this spice in high quantities. This includes pregnant women and people with iron deficiency anaemia, gallstones, or liver problems. Always speak to a doctor or pharmacist before taking a turmeric supplement if you are taking any other medicines, particularly blood thinners, diabetes medicines or proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole.

When should this product not be used?

BetterYou Turmeric Daily Oral Spray is suitable for adults, children aged 3 years and above, vegetarians, vegans and people following a gluten free diet. Do not take this supplement if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or allergic to any of the ingredients.
