What are Quies Ear Plugs?

If you work in a noisy environment or love to visit concerts and nightclubs, you may be looking for a way to protect your ears from damage that loud noise can cause. Quies Ear Plugs are designed to reduce noise by up to 35 decibels, so you can hear all of the important things while protecting your ears from damage. Quies Ear Plugs come in two colour choices, natural beige or a mix of brights.

How does loud noise damage my ears?

When your ears experience sound, it causes vibrations in your eardrum and inner ear. If the noise is too loud then these vibrations can cause damage to your ears. As a rule of thumb, if you have to raise your voice to speak to someone and struggle to hear them talk back, the noise could damage your ears. Noise typically becomes harmful when it reaches 85 decibels, common sounds that reach this level include:

  • Busy traffic – reaches between 80 – 85 decibels.
  • Lawnmower – 90 decibels.
  • Listening to music on headphones at max volume – 100 – 110 decibels.
  • Noise limit for nightclubs – 105 decibels.
  • An airplane taking off – 120 decibels.

How will these ear plugs help to reduce noise damage to my ears?

Quies Ear Plugs mould to the shape of your ear canal, blocking it to reduce the amount of loud noise that reaches your eardrums. They have a noise reduction rating of 35 decibels, reducing the amount of harmful sound that your ears experience while still letting you hear the important things.

How to use Quies Ear Plugs.

Roll your Quies Ear Plug between your fingers, compressing the earplug into a thin tube. With your other hand, pull your ear up and away from your head, opening the ear canal. Insert the ear plug into the ear while it is still compressed and hold in place with a finger as it expands to fill the ear canal. Repeat with the other ear.

When should Quies Ear Plugs not be used?

Do not use Quies Ear Plugs if you are allergic to any of the listed components. If you do not follow the included instructions properly, the effectiveness of these ear plugs may be reduced.
