How should dry tickly cough syrup be taken?

Always shake the bottle before use.

Adults and children over the age of 12: take one or two 5ml spoonfuls (5ml to 10ml), up to 4 times a day. Children from 6 to 12 years: take one 5ml spoonful, up to 4 times a day. Children from 1 to 5 years: take half a 5ml spoonful (2.5ml) up to 4 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

When should dry tickly cough syrup be taken?

Dry tickly cough syrup is suitable for soothing and relieving irritating, dry tickly cough and sore throat caused by viral infections such as common cold and flu. A dry or tickly cough is a cough that produces only little or no mucus. This is often referred to as a ‘non-productive cough’.

When should dry tickly cough syrup not be taken?

Dry tickly cough syrup should not be taken if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed in the patient information leaflet. This includes but is not limited to glycerin. Do not give this medicine to children under the age of 1 (one).

Do not take this dry tickly cough syrup if you are taking any other products containing potassium tartrate, carbonates or bicarbonates.
