What is NRT (nicotine replacement therapy)?
Nicotine replacement therapy, or NRT, is a treatment used to help you quit smoking for good. NRT products like Nicorette Quickmist contain nicotine, which is the addictive substance in cigarettes, and when you use NRT you effectively replace your cigarettes. This helps to reduce the cravings and withdrawal symptoms you can experience when you quit smoking, making it easier for you to cut down or quit completely.
Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding you should try to quit smoking without using NRT and you should try to quit completely right away. However, if you’re struggling to do this then you may be able to use NRT products like this one as a safer alternative to cigarettes. However, you should speak to your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist before using this product, to make sure it’s the best decision for you.

Press down on the top of the dispenser to deposit one Nicorette QuickMist spray into your mouth, avoiding getting the spray down your throat. Use one spray when you would usually smoke a cigarette or when you have cravings to smoke. If your cravings don’t go away within a few minutes you can use a second spray. To begin with, most smokers will need 1 - 2 sprays every 30 minutes to 1 hour. Over time, you should reduce the amount of sprays you use a day until you can stop using the spray and stop smoking completely. Do not use more than 2 sprays per dose or 64 sprays a day. When you’ve used your Nicorette QuickMist SmartTrack spray, hold it against your phone to send the information about your dosage to the Nicorette Stop Smoking app. This will help you to track your progress as you quit smoking completely.
