What is Hedrin Treat & Go Mousse?

Hedrin Treat & Go Mousse is an easy to use treatment that will get rid of head lice and eggs. This mousse is a light non-sticky solution, which means that it is easy to apply. The mousse has no smell and is friendly to asthma sufferers as a result. As well as being easy to apply, it is also easy to remove.

What causes head lice?

Head lice cannot fly, so the way that they move from person-to-person is by direct contact. This is most common between families and at school, which is why children are most at risk of contracting head lice. Lice can also spread by touching or sharing several different items, which include:

  • Hats
  • Scarves
  • Combs and brushes
  • Pillows
  • Towels
  • Upholstery furniture

Clothing can also be a cause of head lice spreading, as they are stored close together. Contrary to belief, dirty hair does not cause head lice infestation.

Who is this Hedrin Mousse suitable for?

This Hedrin Mousse is suitable to be used by adults and children aged 6 months and older who require treatment for head lice. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the mousse.

Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use this mousse?

There is no reason why anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding couldn’t use this mousse. Though, it is recommended that anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding consults a medical professional before using.

How should Hedrin Treat & Go Mousse be used?

Apply the mousse onto dry hair. To use, spray the mousse onto the hand or a comb and ensure that all of the hair is covered by the solution. Let the hair dry, either naturally or by using a hairdryer. The mousse should stay on for at least 8 hours. Rinse the hair afterwards. You should find that dead lice come out of the hair easily. After 7 days, apply more of the mousse into the hair.

Are there any side effects?

Any side effect of using this mousse is most likely to be caused by an allergic reaction. If you notice a side effect, stop using and speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist as soon as possible.
