What is Earol Swim?
Earol Swim is designed to help to prevent water from becoming trapped in your ears. One or two simple sprays in the ear is all you need to create a water-resistant barrier that helps to prevent infection. Ideal for those who enjoy swimming or want to protect against ear infections.
What is swimmer’s ear?
Swimmer’s ear is a kind of outer ear infection which happens when water gets trapped inside your ear. The water creates a moist environment where bacteria can thrive, causing ear infections. As the name may suggest, swimmer’s ear is common in people who are frequent swimmers, but can be prevented by avoiding getting water into your ears.
How will this product help to prevent ear infections?
Earol Swim uses olive oil and tea tree oil to coat the inside of your ears, creating an invisible and water-resistant barrier that helps to prevent water getting trapped in the ear. These two active ingredients are well known for their anti-viral and anti-fungal properties, helping to protect you from ear infections such as swimmer’s ear.
How to use Earol Swim.
Before you go into the water, pull your outer ear upwards to open your ear canal. Place the spray nozzle into the ear canal and spray once or twice as needed. Repeat in the other ear. When you leave the water, tip your head to each side to let the barrier repel the water out of your ears.
Can I use this product if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
There are currently no known harmful side effects that can occur when you use this product during pregnancy or if you are breastfeeding. However, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using any medication during this time, to be sure that it will be safe for both you and your baby.
Can I take this product if I’m using other medication?
There is currently no reason why you would not be able to use this product at the same time as other medication. However, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this product if you are using any other medication, especially those used in the ear. Some medications can interact when used together, making them less effective or causing unwanted side effects and a medical professional can help to prevent this.
When should Earol Swim not be used?
Earol Swim is not suitable for use in children under the age of 1. Each Earol Swim Spray should only be used by one person. If you have a pre-existing outer ear condition, speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using Earol Swim. For use in the ear canal only, do not spray into eyes, nose, or mouth. Do not spray this product near a naked flame.
Does this product have any side effects?
No side effects have currently been reported when you use this product as directed by the manufacturer. However, although this Earol Swim is non-medicinal, you may still experience side effects, as you can with any product of this nature. If you experience any side effects or irritation while using this product, stop use right away. If irritation persists, speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist as soon as possible.
How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place which is at room temperature. Store in original packaging, do not use once expiration date printed on the packaging has passed. Discard this product six months after your first application. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
