These medicines are known to be effective at treatment cradle cap.

What is cradle cap?

Cradle cap is a condition that affects babies from birth to a couple of months. It is not the result of poor hygiene, and it is not contagious or harmful. It looks like greasy, yellow patches that appear on the head. Cradle cap should not be picked at as it can cause infection. It affects the head the most but can appear elsewhere, such as the face, ears, neck, armpits, and behind the knees.

Who is this Dentinox shampoo suitable for?

This shampoo is suitable to be used for infants affected by cradle cap. It should not be used if allergic to the ingredients contained in the shampoo. It should also not be used if the skin on the scalp is broken, or if there are signs of an infection like redness or oozing. If you are using any other treatments, speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist for advice before using.

How should Dentinox Cradle Cap Treatment Shampoo be used?

Before using, test on a small area of the baby’s skin first. If any irritation or redness occurs, then do not use the shampoo. When using, wet the baby’s head with warm water and then apply a small amount of the shampoo onto your palm and massage it gently but firmly into the whole scalp. Rinse off and then apply again. After applying the second time, rinse it off and dry the head. The recommended dosage is 2 2-3ml applications.
