What is Covonia Catarrh Relief Formula?

Covonia Catarrh Relief Formula is a traditional herbal catarrh medicine that provides effective relief of excess nasal and throat catarrh.  Covonia Catarrh Relief is non-drowsy and uses natural herbal extracts to loosen mucus in the nose, sinuses and throat.

What is catarrh?

Catarrh is a build-up of mucus in the nose, throat or sinuses. Catarrh can cause a number of symptoms including:

  • A constant need to clear the throat.
  • Feeling that the throat is blocked by mucus.
  • A blocked or stuffy nose that cannot be cleared.
  • Runny nose.
  • Feeling of mucus running down the back of the throat.
  • Persistent cough.
  • Headache or facial pain.
  • Reduced sense of smell or taste.
  • Crackling or popping sensation in ears.
  • Temporary hearing impairment or loss.

How is catarrh caused?

Catarrh is usually an immune system reaction to an infection or irritation, which causes the lining of the nose and throat to swell and produce mucus. There are few triggers for this reaction including:

  • A cold or other viral infection
  • Allergic rhinitis (allergies to pollen, dust and mould)
  • Irritation caused by environmental factors (e.g. humidity, smoke, fumes)
  • Nasal polyps (small, benign growths on the lining of the nasal passage or sinus)

How does Covonia Catarrh Relief Formula help?

Covonia Catarrh Relief Formula contains two active ingredients:

Burdock Root

  • Natural decongestant.
  • Anti-inflammatory properties to help dissolve mucus.

Hyssop

  • Natural anti-inflammatory properties to reduce swelling and the production of mucus.
